Through the PAACC’s Community Growth and Government Affairs Committee, scheduled meetings and programming with elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels, and involvement in community development initiatives, we strive to advocate for the most pressing issues in the area that are important to the success of your business.

You will find that the Chamber has much to offer businesses in our community. The organization not only provides general Chamber services, but we are also the agency for economic development in Lycoming County whereby we keep in close contact with our local, state and federal leaders informing them of what is of importance for businesses in our community. In addition, we operate the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau along with the Visitors Information Center and the Leadership Lycoming programs.

The Chamber traces its roots to April 26, 1887. Since those early days, the Chamber has had an impact on the business climate of our region. The Chamber was a catalyst for business development back then and remains so today.

The Blair County Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses working together to promote, inform, educate and advocate for the membership and the community.
