Community Involvement

Since 1973, we’ve been engaged with our community across a variety of different issues. Members of our company have contributed thousands of dollars and volunteer hours to a wide range of charities, events, and programs. Here are a few of the highlights.

Rotary International has been advocating for business and professional leaders to engage in humanitarian service since 1905. Its mission, to foster peace and community through service, resonates with our company culture. Doing Better Business continues to follow this tradition through engagement with:

Doing Better Business is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of professionals and business owners. By collaborating with higher education, we’re able to work with young professionals to help foster a sense of community awareness and engagement. We have done that through involvement with programs at Penn State University, including:

Altoona Enactus

A club located in 36 countries which impacts almost 2.8 million people that is dedicated to creating a more sustainable world through the power of business.

Sheetz Fellows

A program which helps business college students prepare to be leaders by fostering a sense of community service.

Don’t Stop Dreamin’ is an organization which helps individuals fulfills dreams that otherwise fall outside their reach. The organization was founded in 2005, and since then it’s created everlasting memories for individuals in need in Pennsylvania. Doing Better Business has supported the creation of individuals’ dreams through sponsorship and volunteering.
